The Fish Hatchery

Continuing our tour of Fresno, we went to the Fish Hatchery. It's in the small town of Friant, right before/below Millerton Lake. It was actually kind of chilly that morning which was surprising! I guess I need to believe that it will get cold here. 

It's fun to see the different fish sizes and watch a massive amount of them swim together. Alta didn't seem to grasp the concept that they were living animals. It probably would have been better if the fish had been red or blue or something other than the color that almost matched the container. Normally you can feed the fish but I forgot quarters. 

(btw - on the way there we passed by a sign that said Topiary Zoo. We have to go there)
